Caring for God's Acre 12 June 2021

St Nicholas' Church recently participated in a national campaign focussing on the nation’s churchyards.
"Caring for God’s Acre" sought to encourage us to look afresh at our churchyards and burial grounds to look at their biodiversity and history.
Several groups, including The Robins class from Bishop Wilson School, The church youth group TBY, and a number of church members took part in surveys of the plants, trees, insects and wildlife.
The TBY youth group plan to continue their involvement and look at ways we can protect biodiversity around the churchyard - and to help keep it on the agenda among the church community and the village.
